Hi, I’m Karin. I’m an idealist, a question-asker, a lifelong pursuer of what’s beyond the horizon line.

I am also a woman who is deeply certain that Joseph Campbell was right when he said: “The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.”

For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with finding out what makes us “tick” and how we can embody our full potential as human beings.

Over the years I found that the images of the Tarot, the archetypal patterns of astrology and the many-modalities-encompassing teachings of Human Design and the Gene Keys  are precise and reliable tools to do just that:

Shining a light on who we are, how our personal energy system works (and doesn’t work) and what gifts we were given to discover and express that highest of potentials, radiate into the world the truest, most authentic, shiniest part of our soul. And bask in the contentment and peace that comes with that path.

I am also deeply interested in community, in the “tribal” bonds we create, how our need to feel connected and to belong trumps… almost everything. I’ve been fortunate to witness and experience “connection” being created in the most intentional and beautiful ways in places I worked and communities I have been part of. Carrying that energy forward is part of what I’m “here to do” in this lifetime.

Here are a few other things about me you might find interesting:

  • Grew up on a farm in a rural village in Germany (Population: 176)
  • Arrived in the US with only a backpack when I was 22
  • Owned a coffee house in Venice, CA for six years (after failing the first time)
  • Worked for 10 years for an amazing multi-disciplinary arts nonprofit for at-risk children
  • Decided I was ready for another adventure and moved to Australia on a student visa in 2012
  • Sold electricity door-to-door in Adelaide in 40+ degree heat (that’s about 115 F !) to make ends meet
  • Stumbled (synchronicity!) across an art therapy program I really couldn’t afford and talked my way into being allowed to work off my tuition in their office
  • Simultaneously earned a Bachelor in Business Management and an Advanced Diploma in Art Therapy degree
  • Until recently served with an environmental nonprofit, fighting for clean air and a healthy planet
  • In March 2023 chose to take a “demotion”  (Manager > Admin Assistant) in order to have “brain space” available to grow my business. Unexpected side effect: I seriously love the new crew of people I’m working with!

I believe that we live in a benevolent universe and that every one of us already has all the answers we are looking for … we just need a little help to remember sometimes.
