Easy coloring + deep messages

BLOG POST UPDATED ON 10/15/2023 for Color Your Own Deck – Round Two!

Hello, beautiful people!

This is the “colored-in” Two of Swords from the Color Me Edition of The Tarot of the Holy Spectrum.

Chase Vorhees, the creator is offering all 78 cards of the Tarot as sort-of blank slates, made available for you (and me) to color ourselves.

Why color your own deck?

Coloring each card will be a meditative activity, uncovering messages from your unconscious that are reflected in the colors and patterns you choose.

Even if you don’t know and/or don’t want to learn the Tarot, these will be valuable “nudges” from the universe that we will uncover together.

And if you DO want to learn the Tarot, getting so intimately connected to the cards will create a very special connection and enable you to “speak Tarot” when you use the deck for readings for yourself or others.

What do I mean by “uncover together”?

I’ve been thinking about creating a membership community for a while, but haven’t had the bandwidth to figure out the “how” and “what” and “what platform” etc.

Basically, I wanna hang out with people in a closed group a few times a month and talk Tarot (and astrology, archetypes, Human Design etc).

Offering these modalities in digestible chunks, answering real questions that come up, exploring and growing together.

Coloring a Tarot deck together is a perfect way into that world!

So, wanna join me on the journey to figure it out?

Might be a bit of a bumpy ride as we get going, but while the logistics may not be flawless from the get-go, I can promise that the info and the learning will be!

Here are the deets.

First of all, you do NOT need to know anything about the Tarot to join us.

We’ll ask real life questions (“what pattern of mine is getting in the way of X” or “what is my blind spot?” “what is my next right action?). We’ll pull cards from the deck and color them and then we’ll talk about what we see.

End result:

We actually walk away with an answer to our question!

You’ll need to purchase the blank deck directly from the creator link at the bottom, currently cost is about $40 with shipping.

Side note: The US Postal Service is terrible atm, so I recommend spending the extra $3 for UPS delivery…

Also, I’m not sure how many decks he has available or how long they will be discounted ($50 without discount), so if you know you want to do this, speed is your friend …

IF THE DECK IS SOLD OUT (or you want a cheaper option): I strongly suggest using the Holy Spectrum Tarot for this class because the images are so evocative and (at least for me) “ping” all kinds of associations in my head when I see them. That said, I’m including an etsy link below for a vastly cheaper version (you’ll need to print on card stock and cut out the 78 cards before class).

Finally you’ll need markers or pencils (no water colors, too wet) to color the image on the card.

We’ll give ppl time to receive their decks in the mail so we’ll start on October 29th.

We’ll meet on 4 consecutive Sundays at 10 am PDT for 60-90 minutes (depending on class size).

Thats 10/29, 11/5, 11/12 and 11/19/2023.

Your investment is $88 for all four sessions.

Sessions will be recorded and made available for viewing within 24 hours.

Currently I am leaning towards signing up with a platform called “Circle” but still haven’t done enough research yet to say for sure. Stay tuned for further info.

For now we’ll use Zoom and we started a WhatsApp group for group members to share with each other in between sessions.
